About Us
01 Who We Are
The Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation (“MHF”) was founded in 1996 with the goal of strengthening a caring culture and society.
Raja Tun Mohar Raja Badiozaman, who died in 2003, was the Foundation’s Chairman and President until his death.
Tan Sri Datuk Paduka Dr. Mazlan Ahmad, the Foundation’s Deputy Chairman, assumed the role of Chairman in 2003 and led the organisation until his death in 2018.
Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Johari b. Mat and Tan Sri Dato’ Kamaruzzaman b. Shariff was in charge of the Foundation, along with Henry Teh Kok Kheng, who has served as the Pro Bono Executive Director of Management since the inception, where he retired in the end of year 2018.
Henry Teh Kok Kheng was asked to continue as the Pro Bono Executive Director of Management till present while there is a new Board of Steering Trustees (BoST) being installed.
Initiatives:
- The foundation meets the needs of special groups in various ways to ensure that they can live with dignity.
- The foundation incorporates volunteering into everything we do.
- The foundation enables the use of effective and efficient best practises for corporate governance and sustainability.
02 Aim
MHF is a non-profit organisation that offers activities and services to Malaysians of all genders, races, and religions. It was founded by like-minded individuals who shared MHF’s vision and mission. (Click here to see previous / present boards)
