World Kindness Day Malaysia TikTok Challenge 2021 – Terms & Conditions
KidnessINTRODUCTION
By taking part in the World Kindness Day Malaysia Challenge 2021 (“Challenge”), you accept and agree to the following terms and conditions. Please make sure that you review and understand the terms and conditions before participating.
WHO CAN ENTER?
The Challenge is open to all Malaysians citizens residing in Malaysia age 18 years old and above. Participants below the age of 18 years old are required to seek parental or guardian consent.
Participants must have a valid Tik Tok account and a valid email account to partake in the Challenge.
WHEN TO ENTER?
The Challenge will run starting from now till before 6 pm of 30 October 2021. If extension
of time is needed, we will update all of you.
HOW TO ENTER?
There is a total of seven (7) categories open for participation:
PART A
- Kindness for Self
- Kindness for Family
- Kindness for Neighbour
- Kindness for Community
- Kindness via Animation
- Kindness from Bloggers/Influencers
- Kindness Song
- Youth (between the ages of 15 to 24 years) on sharings and thoughts on kindness
Part B
We are looking for parties that are interested to share their texts or words of kindness of no more than 25 words. We will forward this words and texts to World Kindness Movement (WKM) so that they can submit to the UN to support World Kindness Day. WKM is looking for 1,000,000 words or texts from the world. We hope Malaysia can contribute to this substantially to support World Kindness Day.
Within the Challenge period, upload your best kindness video (“Kindness Video”) on Tik Tok to fit the category that you wish to participate with the hashtag
#worldkindnessdaymalaysia2021.
Register yourself by filling up the form with your Full Name, Email, Phone Number, and your Kindness Video Tik Tok Link.
You may participate in more than three (3) challenges per Tik Tok account, provided that each of your Kindness Videos fit each category you are participating adequately.
All participants are advised to take responsible for their own safety precautions throughout the whole process of the Challenge production. All participants are also compelled to obey and follow the health SOP implemented by the government.
The content of the Kindness Video shall not contain any content that is sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, race, gender, religious, professional, sexual orientation or age group, profane or pornographic material, contains nudity, promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, promotes any particular political agenda or message, is obscene or offensive, endorses any form of hate or hate groups or defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies.
HOW TO WIN?
Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation’s (MHF) panel of judges will review and evaluate all the Kindness Videos submitted based on their positive message and creativity. We want to be encouraged positively to see all the positive ways that we can care for ourselves and one another.
Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation has prepared a total cash prize of RM2,350 for Part A and RM750 for Part B to be won.
Each category’s participant with the BEST Kindness Video as determined by the Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation’s panel of judges will be awarded a cash prize of RM250 each. RM 100 is given to the winner for Youth Kindness Video.
The Overall Best winner amongst all the Best Kindness Videos as selected by the Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation’s panel of judges will be awarded a cash prize of RM500. For the texts or words, Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation’s panel of judges will be awarded a cash prize of RM250 each (3 prizes).
The winners list will be announced on 13 November 2021 through the Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation facebook or official website.
Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation’s decision on the winners list is final. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
Cash prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for another form, in part or in full. However, Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation reserves the right to substitute the cash prize with that of a similar value at any time.
Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation will not be responsible for any loss or damages during cash prize delivery.
Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation reserves the right to withdraw the prize if a winner breaches any of the terms and conditions, or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
All personal data provided by the Participant via online registration to Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation for the purpose of this Challenge, shall be deemed to have given with consent by the participant. Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation may disclose or share your personal data, gathered from such information provided by participants vide this website, to our business partner and associates. Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation makes it a priority to keep secure the personal data of individuals and the said personal data will be processed in relation to their participation in this Challenge.
